This is a new project-based, hands on course. We will be working in a variety of subject areas including but not limited to:

    Interior Design – elements and principles of design and their application to decorating choices, study floor plans, room and furniture arrangement and selection, housing styles


    Textile Design- process of creating designs for woven, knitted or printed fabrics or surface ornamented fabrics

    Fashion Design -

    Integrates instruction and laboratory experiences including application of the elements and principles of design; selection, production, alteration, repair, and maintenance of apparel and textile products; product research, development, and testing

    Architectural Design - art and science of designing buildings and (some) non-building structures. The style of design and method of construction of buildings and other physical structures

    Graphic Design – Logo Design, Typography, Color Theory

    Explores graphic communication through the understanding of the elements and principles of design; as well as, the design process, from idea development through the final execution of a document. Professionals use the concepts explored in this course in the following disciplines: advertising, graphic design, web design, illustration, broadcast design, photography and game design and many others.
